Privacy Policy
Last updated:
Dompetku is self-hosted open-source software. This policy explains what data this instance stores, where it lives and who can access it. The "instance owner" is the person who deployed and runs this copy of the app.
1. Data we store
The financial data you enter — accounts, transactions, budgets, debts, receivables, gold, goals, receipt photos and settings — is stored in the instance owner's own Supabase project (PostgreSQL and Storage).
The database is only accessed by this app's server; the browser never connects to it directly. The authors of Dompetku have no access to this instance.
2. Not sold, not shared
The instance owner does not sell, rent or share your data for advertising. Data is only sent to third-party services the owner has enabled, and only as far as that feature needs (see below).
3. Cookies & browser storage
- One signed httpOnly session cookie, used only to keep you signed in.
- localStorage for your theme, language and privacy-mode preferences.
- No analytics, tracking pixels or third-party cookies.
4. Third-party services (when configured)
Depending on how the instance owner configured it, these services may receive data:
- Supabase — hosts the database and receipt photos.
- Vercel or another host — runs the server and receives HTTP requests with standard logs.
- AI provider (OpenAI-compatible API) — receives receipt photos or transaction text to read, along with your category names.
- Telegram and n8n — relay bot messages, summaries and reminders between you and the app.
- Resend — sends reminder emails to the address set by the instance owner.
- Sentry — receives technical error reports (error message and request context), not your financial records.
- Google Drive — stores backup files when scheduled backups are enabled.
5. Backup & data deletion
You can export all data as a JSON backup and restore it at any time from Settings. Data deleted in the app is removed from the database; to erase everything, the instance owner can delete the Supabase project and the deployment.
6. Contact
Questions about data on this instance go to the instance owner who operates it. Issues with the source code can be reported on the project's GitHub repository.
